Biography

Wang Zhijun, a world liposuction champion, set a world record with a single-session liposuction volume of 18,000 mL, which remains unbroken to this day. He is a physician specializing in safe liposuction and localized liposuction, and he is the private plastic surgery consultant for Korean star Lee Yoo-jin.

He has repeatedly performed demonstrations of liposuction and autologous fat transplantation at various aesthetic surgery conferences. Clinical practice records of surgical demonstrations by Dr. Wang Zhijun have been left in Tokyo, Manila, Sydney, and Seoul. On November 26, 2004, in Chongqing, Wang Zhijun extracted 18,400 mL of fat from Miss Zhu Yulan, breaking his own world record of 18,000 mL for a single liposuction procedure set on March 19, 2001. CCTV’s News Broadcast and China National Radio’s News and Newspaper Digest both carried special reports on the success of his liposuction surgery and his maintenance of the record.
